About the Activity
Belize, especially south Belize is well known for having large areas of land
designated as protected area. These are the present and future rainforests of
Belize. After a short 10 minutes’ walk from cinnamon Hall, you cross the Spice
creek the landscape changes and you are surrounded by a dense forest. We
have made a small trail on the side of spice creek. The guide will help you walk
on the trail we made beside the spice creek. Please do not touch plants or
trees in the forest without the guide’s approval.
The creek has multiple springs which keep the water flowing even during the
dry season.
You get a first-hand look at the flora and fauna of this unique to this
environment This include medicinal plants, and plants that smell like spices.
Please use Insect repellants. Pls note there are no restrooms on this trail. Pls
carry drinking water and insect repellant for this tour. You get to see and learn
how the rain forest plays such a major role in the ecosystem of our planet.

- Weather - Any weather is suitable for this tour unless it is extreme.
- Conditions: Signing of the waiver is required. Using Insect repellant is strongly recommended. Insects may still bite you. Minimum 2 people are needed to initiate the tour. It is a good idea to cover your body as much as possible and preferably wear your dirty sneakers. Please make reservation a day before at the front desk with your preferred time for the tour.
