Our Credentials for supporting Mother nature
We built our cabanas using Teak we grew. The trees in rain forest were left untouched. With large root structure under the ground, Teak grows back even faster after the first harvest, and become harvestable again in a shorter period of time. So Teak is a renewable source of Lumber for us.
We use solar powered electrical grid from Indian Creek (the first of its kind in Belize). The hot water source for Cabanas and swimming pool also is 100% Solar. It is safe to say we are more than carbon neutral.
Physically Challenged Friendly Resort.
All the areas of the Tropical Magnolia Resort can be reached by a wheelchair, currently may be the only resort to make this claim in Belize
Community
Golden Stream and Indian Creek are our closest communities.
We consider ourselves as part of these communities. we respond to the needs of these two communities. It may be as small as helping with the water system, or something bigger like grading the farmers road (a road built by us for the community) or supplying food to poor families during flood.
We attend to the needs of the Golden Stream School whenever possible.
The new Tropical Magnolia Resort will follow the same policies set by Belize spice farm.
Information about Belize Spice Farm and Botanical gardens and the new Tropical magnolia Resort are widely available on social media like face book, Instagram and YouTube. You may contact us by email, telephone or through social media.
