Black Pepper Harvesting tour

January to March Guests may visit the Black pepper blocks during the Harvesting season (Jan-March) You may also visit the drying room where we dry the black pepper and make white pepper. There is no charge for inhouse guests. A private tour can be arranged for $25/person. Transportation will be provided to and from the Black pepper Blocks. The guide will explain the process of Black pepper drying and making white pepper. High Lights

Cinnamon Extraction tour

Any month of the year Please check with front desk for date and time we do cinnamon extractionGuestsmay visit the Cinnamon Blocks to see the Cinnamon trees. Easy 15-minute walk through coconut road will get you to the Cinnamon Blocks. The extraction time can be pre-arranged. There is no charge for the in-house guests to visit the Cinnamon Blocks and watch the extraction process. High Lights

Vanilla Pollination tour

March April and May Pollination is done by trained staff from 6:30 am to 10 am. It is an easy 15-minute walk-through coconut road to any of the Vanilla Blocks. Guests may watch the staff doing the artificial pollination and do few by themselves under the guidance of our staff. There is no charge for in house guests. If you want transportation along with guide to do this tour, the fee will be BZ$25/person. High Lights

Monkey River Tour

A very popular tour for nature lowers. Driving time is about 1 hr. The Monkey River tour guide will take you on a boat. While on the trail you may observe Howler Monkeys and variety of birds in the forest. You may also see Iguanas, gibnuts and crocodiles. During your boat trip you may get to see Manatees-a very exciting experience. Reservation required at least a day ahead. Minimum 2people are required to initiate this tour. High Lights

Ixcacao Chocolate Tour

Very popular tour, located about 45 minutes away. This company is Maya owned and takes pride in the historical fact; their ancestors discovered the use of Cacao. The Tour guide /owner describe the way how cacao was used by ancient Maya. He also will show how chocolate is currently made with machineries using the state-of-the-arttechnology. Indian Creek Chocolate tour

Learn how the Maya people made chocolate hundreds of years ago. Indian Creek village is a traditional Maya Indian village, and a very popular tourist destination. Located near the Belize Spice Farm, the  Indian Creek Chocolate Tour offers a fascinating look into the world of chocolate-making, taking you through every step of the process from cacao bean to chocolate bar. Set in the scenic Toledo District, this tour provides an educational yet immersive experience into the cultivation of cacao, a crop deeply rooted in Belizean history and culture. Nim Li Punit Mayan Archaeological site

This famous Maya ruin is only 2 to 3 miles away from our Resort. The name of the ruin means big hat and is famous for carved stelae. The site has a museum with Pictures of Maya history and writings in Hieroglyphics. Guides on the site are experts on the Maya History and will be glad to share it with you. Please make reservation at the front desk the day before you plan a trip to Nim Li Punit Minimum 2 persons are needed to schedule this tour. High Lights

Rain Forest Tour

Belize, especially south Belize is well known for having large areas of land designated as protected area. These are the present and future rainforests of Belize. After a short 10 minutes’ walk from cinnamon Hall, you cross the Spice creek the landscape changes and you are surrounded by a dense forest. We have made a small trail on the side of spice creek. The guide will help you walk on the trail we made beside the spice creek. Please do not touch plants or trees in the forest without the guide’s approval. The creek has multiple springs which keep the water flowing even during the dry season. You get a first-hand look at the flora and fauna of this unique to this environment This include medicinal plants, and plants that smell like spices. Please use Insect repellants. Pls note there are no restrooms on this trail. Pls carry drinking water and insect repellant for this tour. You get to see and learn how the rain forest plays such a major role in the ecosystem of our planet. High Lights

Lake Walk

The Lotus Lake behind Cabanas is beautiful and very relaxing place for a walk. Currently you may enter the lake walk from the cabana parking lot, or through the outdoor shower door. Please make sure the outdoor showerdoor is closed from outside before going on a walk. Please use caution while taking this tour since we are still under construction. Please be careful with children and non swimmers when you are near water. Please watch for any critters. The large iguanas you may see are not dangerous. The green Garden snake also is not dangerous. For Inhouse guests there is no charge for using the lake walk. Lake walk is complimentary to all our inhouse guests and visiters.
